Also known also as 'Soap Nuts', these little soapberries grow on trees in the Himalayas are a 100% natural and organic alternative to traditional soaps. They are part of the lychee family and are collected when they drop to the ground and dry out. The berries contain ‘saponin’ which is a surfactant that acts like soap. How amazing is that?!
A very cost effective and super easy alternative to softeners and traditional washing detergents and leave your clothes feeling soft and fresh.
Used mostly for laundry & fabric softener but can also be used as shampoo, dishwashing soap and cleaning. Place a few soapberries in water; shake- you will see the amount of suds they create!
They are totally waste free, non toxic and natural laundry detergent which is what we love and contain absolutely no harmful toxins, SLS’s foaming agents or anything at all that can cause any harm. Perfect for sensitive skin.
How to use: Place 5 soapberries into the extra cotton wash bag. They are odourless so if you desire you can add few drops of essential oils for added fragrance. Make sure to double tie top. Wash as normal. Biodegradable, Anti Bacterial, Grey Water Safe & Septic

Shipping is priced from $8 per order and is based on the total weight of your purchase.
Orders with a value over $100 or more will qualify for free standard shipping.
If you need your order in a hurry, or if your order contains live plants, we recommend choosing the 'express shipping' option at the checkout.
Orders will be sent with either Australia Post or Sendle and dispatched within 3 business days. A tracking number will be provided upon shipment.
Exchanges
Should you wish to exchange an item, you can do so by contacting us within 7 days of receiving your order. The items must be returned at your own expense and postage costs may be incurred for the shipment of your chosen replacement item. Please choose carefully as we do not offer refunds for change of mind, but a store credit can be provided if you can't find a suitable replacement item immediately.
Refunds
If any item in your order is damaged or faulty upon receipt, please contact us within 7 days at hello@plantfolkstore.com.au. We can then arrange a replacement item to be sent or your money refunded within 48 hours of receiving your product back at our HQ.
If returning goods for a return or exchange, please ensure you use protective packaging and ensure the item/s are traceable as Plant Folk will not be responsible for goods that are damaged or lost in transit.
